Privacy Policy

Last updated 30 June 2026

This policy explains how GaelPRO, based in Cork, Ireland, handles personal data. GaelPRO is the data controller for your account and billing information, and a data processor for the club and player information you enter (see section 3). For any privacy question, contact hello@gaelpro.club.

1. Data we collect

  • Account: your email address (used for magic-link sign-in).
  • Club and branding: club name, county, colours, crest, sponsor details, language.
  • Match and content: teams, fixtures, results, scorers, team sheets, player names, and the reports and captions generated from them.
  • Billing: handled by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer and subscription reference and your plan status — not your card number.
  • Technical: essential cookies that keep you signed in, and basic server logs.

2. How we use it, and our legal bases

  • To provide the service and create your graphics and content — performance of our contract with you.
  • To process subscriptions and payments — contract and legal obligation.
  • To keep the service secure and reliable — our legitimate interests.
  • To send you essential service messages — contract and legitimate interests.

3. Player and club data (who is responsible)

When a club enters player names, team sheets or photographs — which may include children — the club is the data controller for that information. The club is responsible for having a lawful basis and any consent required under data-protection law and GAA guidance (for example, parental or guardian consent where appropriate). GaelPRO acts only as a processor, using that information solely to produce the club’s graphics and content on the club’s instructions.

4. Who we share data with

We use trusted providers, each handling data only to deliver their part of the service:

  • Supabase — database, sign-in and file storage (also sends sign-in emails).
  • Stripe — subscription payments.
  • Anthropic — generates match reports and captions from the facts you submit.
  • Vercel — application hosting.

We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising.

5. International transfers

Some providers (for example Anthropic) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your club and content data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Billing records are kept for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your data — see your rights below.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to certain processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@gaelpro.club. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only, to keep you signed in and secure. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Children

GaelPRO is intended for adult club officials. Where information about children is involved, it is entered by clubs acting as controllers (see section 3); we do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know.
